Privacy Policy

Self-Tape Vault is built around a local-first principle. Your video files are processed entirely within your browser using Local RAM Transient Encryption Protocols. We do not upload, store, or transmit your source footage to any server.

When you run a diagnostic, only file metadata (such as name and size) and the resulting analysis are handled transiently in memory. The video stream itself is referenced via a local object URL and is discarded when you close or reset the session.

We collect the minimum necessary to operate the Service: authentication session state, subscription and billing status (processed by our payment provider), and basic support correspondence you initiate.

We use a single signed, httpOnly session cookie to maintain your authenticated access to the vault. This cookie contains no personal footage data and cannot be read by client-side scripts.

Payment processing is handled by Stripe under its own privacy terms. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

Because source footage is never persisted, there is nothing to retain or delete on our end. Account and billing records are retained only as long as required to provide the Service and meet legal obligations.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the limited account data we hold at any time via the in-app support channel.
