How to film your reel scenes
- The 1-Inch Reader RulePosition your live reader 1-2 inches to the left or right of your camera lens and lock your eyes on them. The eyeline barely misses the camera, so casting sees your raw focus.
- Vocal Balancing HackYour reader sits right next to the mic. Ask them to speak at about 50% of your volume so your performance stays loud and their lines sit in the background.
- Frame & Depth IsolationSet up a medium close-up from the chest up and step about 3 feet away from your background wall for clear depth separation.
